In todays episode of WalkItOut Podcast were chatting with Kristen Anderson I hope you enjoy todays show You can listen at WalkItOutPodcastcom or on iTunes

In today’s episode, we’re chatting with Kristen Anderson.

Kristen is a special person to me because I wrote her personal story in a book titled, Life, In Spite of Me.

Kristen and I met through a mutual friend, and right around the time I’d met Kristen she’d just appeared on Oprah. Being on Oprah’s couch was the dream spot that every speaker and writer wanted, but Kristen landed there for a unique reason. This episode was people who survived their own suicide attempts, Kristen survived laying down in front of a train. As you listen today you will see God’s hand on her life—then and now.

I do want to say that her story isn’t an easy one to listen to. Also, note that you might want to listen without small children around. Kristen tells her story simply, but the subject matter may be too much for children to listen to.

God is a God of hope, and I hope you’ll walk away understanding that more fully today! You can listen above or on iTunes! I’d love it if you shared with your friends!

This Week’s Walk It Out Scripture

Psalm 40:1-3

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.

Wow, what an amazing life story! Thank you both for being so brave to share this and to share about God’s redemptive love!
