#WalkItOut Podcast 069: Kristi Clover

Recently the question was posed, “If you could hire someone fulltime to help you at your house, who would you hire? A maid, a cook, a chauffeur, personal shopper?” I have eleven people in my house, a maid would definitely be my first choice! That would be amazing. But the thing I have learned, even if you have a housekeeper come in and clean all day (which I have) by an hour later it will be a mess again if we don’t address the clutter. If we don’t dig into the deeper issue — why do we let stuff pile up? Why do we let ourselves become overwhelmed?

I am so thankful for my friend Kristi Clover, author of book M.O.M: Master Organizer of Mayhem. We get chatting and giggly in this episode because I am blessed to be able to call Kristi one of my best friends. And the thing about Kristi is that she knows how to get organized! She always has a plan and system when we travel together for conferences. She has been such an encourager to be to go through and work on my clutter and mess.

I know that you will be encouraged today by my conversation with Kristi Clover! You can listen above or on iTunes! I’d love it if you shared with your friends!

Even though I’m past the stage of rearing children, I could appreciate both the heart and practicality of today’s episode. I want to encourage moms who are still training their kids to become independent—yes, they will get it and not only survive, but also thrive. Keep walking with Jesus, loving your kids, and persisting in all you are trying to teach them.
