Romans 8:35

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, what a comfort to know that I am yours and nothing—NOTHING—can separate me from your love! Help me cling to that truth when perils come and my faith wavers. May I rely on your Spirit and Word and know I am always in your loving arms.

What trial are you experiencing today that threatens that truth? Remind yourself of God’s love and promise daily!
