I’m excited to announce I’ll be writing another WWII novel. And I’ll be doing it with two great friends!
I’ll Be Seeing You at Christmas — coming fall 2014!
Three siblings experience World War II through the lens of varied experience. In a time when the future is uncertain and romance a risky venture, the love and wisdom of their grandmother centers them as they search for love and deeper faith.
White Christmas by Cara C. Putman
A candy maker and a puzzle manufacturer have one thing in common: love is the last thing they’re looking for and the very thing they need.
I’ll Be Home For Christmas by Sarah Sundin
A fighter pilot running on empty, a lonely widow, and a little girl searching for what she’s lost—will an unusual Christmas gift fill their hearts again?
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Tricia Goyer
As Christmas nears a combat nurse offers care and cheer to injured soldiers on the front line, but when her patients and the Dutch villagers discover it’s her birthday they work together to give her a great gift—a reason to believe in love again.
Now what about you: What era would you like to see me write next?!
Sounds exciting, Tricia. My mom told me so many stories of WWII – I am fascinated with that era.
I will have to read this. My dad was in the Navy, Mom a telephone operator back in WWII. Dad’s sister, another operator set them up to meet. That meeting began a romance/relationship/marriage that lasted over 60 years.
I love your WWII books. I think you should do as many as you can while there are still some people around who lived it.
There are so many stories to tell from the home front as well as the battle lines.
Check out the story of Richard Bong, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Bong. There’s a museum honoring him in Superior, WI. Some of his family are still living.
YAY!!!! I LOVE your WWII novels! I have all of them except one..:)
I think WWII is the most fascinating of time periods to read.Almost everyone knows at least someone who fought or lived during WWII.
Please, please, please write more World War 2 books! Though some WWI novels would be pretty neat too!! 😉
Can’t wait to read your new one!!!!!
I agree there are so many great stories! I hope I can write more!!!
Thanks, friends, for celebrating with me!
I love WWII fiction (and nonfiction!) I especially enjoy little-known stories! You could do one on the 168 Allied Airmen taken to Buchenwald..
OR if you’re looking for a new time period, Russian-Jewish immigration/persecution at the end of the 1800s and the beginning of 1900s!
Anyway, I know any of your historical novels will be FABULOUS!!!
PS Reading “By the Light of the Silvery Moon”. My sister read it and loved it.
