Four Word Meme

Gina has tagged me with the five word meme. I have to personally define them, and THEN I get to tag five more people with words of my own choosing.

Gina’s words:

Silt: Silt is the nice soil in the garden that helps it grow. Of course, when it comes to writing what helps my manuscript most is when I silt in my computer chair and work! (Silt: a combination of sitting and lounging.)

Schwa: This is an exclamation of excitement that comes over me when I meet a writing goal. (Schwa: a combination of swell and boo-ya!)

Digraph: This, of course, is how I plot the main points of death for my war novels. When I need to figure out who I’m going to off in what chapter, I create a digraph. (Digraph: hand drawn graph of the poor characters in Tricia Goyer’s books who weren’t lucky enough to get the leading roles.)

Calendula: My new assistant, Amy, is my inspiration for this definition. Since I’ve volunteered with pregnant teens for many years, I know that a doula is a labor and delivery room goddess who is there to support the mom during birth. Because I have 101 things going at once, my manuscript “labor and delivery” can be overwhelming. My assistant, Amy, is my calendula. She supports me and encourages me while she also juggles my schedule. (Calendula: an underpaid assistant who makes appointments and offers encouragement and ice chips.)

And a final one from Gina for good luck . . .

Innocuous: Since there is no immunization against the worry virus, God’s Word helps me to be innocuous to bad reviews and poor sales figures. (Yes, I actually knew what this word meant!)

Now for the tag. [Insert evil maniacal laugh.randomly radomly looking in the dictionary now . . .

bloviate
latitudinarian
philomath
hebetude
and
betimes

I tag:
Ane Mulligan , Beth Goddard, Cindy Thomson, Pammer and Dena Dyer because I’m trying to give my regular tagees a break, and these were the first who came to mind.
