Okay, I thought I could create a “buzz” on my blog by showing a photo of me drinking and gambling.
The truth is . . . we were being wined and dined by Microsoft on a two-hour Executative Cruise around Boston Harbor. Of course, my drink of choice was Diet Coke. And my gambling chips were phony money.
It’s been a great week, and I’ve written about 10,000 words in my novel. I’ve also enjoyed Boston, which will be making an appearance in “A Valley of Betrayal” (Boston 1936, of course). The historic sites, horse-mounted police, street entainers, Starbucks on every street corner, oh yes, and the shopping have endeared me to this city.
This is a photo of John at the Boston Harbor.
This is the Copp Hill Cementary.
I’ll post more tomorrow . . . but today I have a 2,000 word goal to meet!
Diet Coke, hmmm? Haha! LOL!! Love the pictures, Tricia — thanks for sharing. Will be interesting to read your re-creation of Boston circa 1936.
