Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day! I hope you get the chance to take a break from everyday life today and spend some time with your loved ones.

I’m taking a break today from “regular” posts and thought this was a great opportunity to catch you up on some of this past week’s Facebook and Twitter updates, a new pin, and some exciting blog posts.

Via Facebook: “The best writing advice I ever got was from Robin Jones Gunn. She had us go back to the high spots and low spots of our lives and see God at work. And also to pull out the emotions from those and use them in our writing. I still consider her instruction every time I set down to write.”

Via Twitter: My Guideposts devotion: “Wealth isn’t determined by your bank account. The greatest treasure you have is Jesus.” http://buff.ly/QawGCm

Via Pinterest: “The DNA of a good book. Who’s reading what?!”

On Saturday, I began another It’s Real Life Photo Assignment. This week’s edition is Back to School! I’d love to see your photos, so be sure to click here for more information.

Last but not least, you still have a few more days to enter the My Well Planned Day software giveaway (which is wonderful, especially if you home-school your children). For more details and to enter the giveaway, click here!
