Holiday Gift Guide: Educational Kids’ Toys

holidaygiftguide-games

My kids love to play games and learn at the same time (as evidenced on my many Instagram pictures of them having fun)! I think your kids would love to open one of these gifts on Christmas morning! Most of these have been tested by my own kids and pass the fun test (for them) and the educational test (for me).

What other games would you add to the list? Let me know below in the comment section!

Educational Kids’ Toys

Mentalogy

Mental Blox

Teaching Cash Register

Snap Circuits Jr

K’Nex

Slamwich

Uno

Qwirkle

Learning Resources Pattern Blocks

Rory’s Story Cubes

Maisy Game

Check out these educational games! Win-win for parents & kids! @TriciaGoyer

Yes,kids still love games. It’s amazing because a lot of kids want to be on kindle fires playing games hour by hour. If you can get them to play a game with you than they actually seem to enjoy it. They also like puzzles too.
One thing that I haven’t seen around lately is the old barrel of monkeys. Remember that? My daughter , who is 41 now used to love this game and I loved to play with it to. All the monkeys have little tails that are curled and they all come in a small barrel. You take one out of the barrel than go fishing for other monkeys. Your goal is to get as many monkeys out of the barrel as you can by linking the curly tail to another monkeys curly tail. You will have a long chain of monkeys until something causes one to fall away and it’s start all over again.
I’m a grandmother and great grandmother. Bet the comment gave that away.
Have fun shopping for your children
