John and I first considered homeschooling when our oldest was ready to start kindergarten. We knew a few homeschooling families, and I really liked their teens. Their teens loved God and enjoyed spending time with their parents. I wanted teens like that.
I’ve been homeschooling for 25 years and have graduated four kids. Cory works in insurance. Leslie is a missionary in the Czech Republic, and she teaches at a university there. Nathan is a published novelist and is currently a college student. Arianna also is in college. And I still have six kids that I’m homeschooling, grades 2nd-9th.

My Favorite Curriculum:
I love this literature-based program because it allows me to homeschool all our kids at the same time. I purchase a unit for the younger kids (this year Unit C) and a unit for the older kids (this year Unit H), and I read aloud books with all of them. Sonlight also included individual work for Math and Language Arts.
