Launch Team Reviews | The One Year Book of Amish Peace

A couple of weeks ago, I talked about how readers help their favorite authors sell more books. YOU as the reader determine a book’s success—and I asked you for help making my upcoming release a success. The One Year® Book of Amish Peace released October 1, and you helped it make a splash.
Now, I’d love to hear what you thought. Please leave a snippet of your review below (with a link to your online review) and you’ll be entered to win a $100 Visa Cash Card. Winner announced 12/10.
IMPORTANT: In order to be eligible to win, you must leave a link to your online review AND post about either the Snap It & Win It Contest OR the December 4th Amish Peace Facebook Party – or both!
Thank you ahead of time for your support and for helping to make my new book a success. YOU keep me writing!
Here’s a bit about the book:

amish-peace3DIn our instantly connected world, it’s surprisingly easy to lose our connection to God. This devotional taps Amish wisdom in order to help us draw closer to God and hear his voice. The One Year® Book of Amish Peace, you’ll get a daily taste of Amish values and wisdom. Tricia Goyer shares her fascination with the Amish in a way that will inspire and encourage believers to carve out more time in each day to listen to God and experience his presence. This daily devotional contains interesting facts about the Amish, recipes, and information about the way the Amish handle money, rear their children, and center their lives on faith in God. You’ll be inspired to slow down and find ways to simplify so that you, too, can experience God in the ordinary.

So, how can you help? Put your social media skills to good use! I’ve put together a social media kit with some things to pin, tweet, and post (insert link to samples page on website). You can do one thing each day: choose either to pin, to tweet, or to post on Facebook. Then once you’ve done that, fill out the below form.
The first 100 participants will receive a copy of the book. Everyone after 100 is entered to win a copy of the book and a $25 gift card. And BONUS—everyone who participates is eligible for a $100 Anthropologie gift card and a Skype chat with me for their small group.
Find more info and goodies about the book on this page.

My review goes live tomorrow on my blog!
I really enjoyed this book because as a busy mom, it is always difficult to make a point of getting alone with the Lord. This book helped me find time in manageable bites.
I have found more wisdom in this book than trying to make my own devotionals and learned so much more about the Amish ways of living. Thank you!
    Lyn~

The One Year Book of Amish Peach by Tricia Goyer has been such a wonderful blessing to me. There is so much we can learn about living Godly lives from the Amish and their traditions. In this devotional Tricia Goyer really makes a great connection between these Amish traditions and ways of lives to our modern lives.

The devotional is a perfect Christmas gift for any person in your life that loves the genre of Amish Fiction, or who wants to incorporate some of the Amish Lifestyle in the busyness of today’s modern world. Goyer did a great job at making the devotionals easy to read, beautifully organized, life applicable verses, and stunning prayers. A stunning devotional that I know I will use for many years to come!
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!

    I posted my blog review…
“This book is a must read. I love that it is a daily devotional type of book. Tricia offers some great stories, words of wisdom, and fun recipes (I can’t wait to try!). You will also find daily inspirations to encourage you throughout your day, Scriptures, a look into the Amish life, and prayers. Tricia has written some Amish inspired fiction books before. I loved reading them and learning something new and inspiring along the way. I’ve enjoyed learning and seeing what life is like in an Amish community. And this book offers us even more into the Amish life…” read more here at http://www.espressoyour-self.com/2013/12/a-book-review-one-year-book-of-amish.html
