New Goyers:
Clayton William born June 30th to Cory and Katie. He’s the cutest little bug ever. And we got a five generations photo!
Alyssa became an official Goyer on September 6th! She’s precious and very loved.
Places we’ve visited:
Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, Miami. Why? Mom had a writer’s cruise and we were “forced” to tag along.
Czech Republic. Why? Leslie had a mission’s trip with our church. (Yes, it was our idea 🙂 )
Pennsylvania and Ohio. Why? Tricia had a booksigning tour and took Alyssa and her friend Twyla along.
Alaska. Why? Life in Little Rock was busy and John asked, “Don’t you have a book to research in Alaska?” (Tricia did.)
St. Louis. Why? Tricia spoke at a writer’s conference.
Wisconsin. Why? To get our new truck we bought from our friends Job and Marie. (Thanks!)
Montana, Idaho. Why? More writing trips.
Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee. Why? Because we live close to them and like to explore our new world!
Tricia’s New Books:
Beside Still Waters (Amish novel #1)
Along Wooded Paths (Amish novel #2)
Praying for Your Future Husband (for teens and single women)
Remembering You (contemp. story with WWII tie)
Mornings with Jesus (devotional)
Favorite Sayings:
“Hercules, Hercules, Hercules.” Alyssa’s favorite show to watch with her daddy.
“Ya’ll. Might could. Fixin’.” Trying to fit in with our new neighbors.
“Seriously?!” Because Nathan and Kayleigh Stoltz and kids are living with us and it’s Kayleigh’s favorite thing to say.
Faces around the dinner table:
Currently 11 living with us, including Grandma and the Stoltz family, but 13+ when Tricia’s friend Anita was visiting from Austria and a friend or two is over for dinner!
Kids’ accomplishments:
Cory…being a great husband to Katie and a fantastic dad to Clayton.
Leslie…surviving the beginning of her Junior Year at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
Nathan…a high school senior and Alyssa’s favorite babysitter!
Alyssa…walking, running, climbing, talking, animal sounds, and dancing. It’s been quite a year!
John’s work:
FamilyLife is amazing. It hardly feels like work…well, it does feel like work, but FamilyLife is still amazing!
Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Love, the Goyers!!
That card is beautiful and so is the family in it! You’ve had quite a busy year! Merry Christmas to you too.
