Fans are giddy with excitement, My Life Unscripted is arriving in homes across the country!
Check out this stop on the tour from Home Steeped Hope:
You pick up a book, scan the back cover and it either grabs you or it doesn’t. When my influencer copy of My Life, Unscripted from Tricia Goyer arrived, the back cover copy jumped out at me and seconds later I was sinking into my couch, stealing enough time to confirm that this book is a definite keeper! Wait! Scratch that, it was SO good I made it a huge priority to finish before my niece’s 18th birthday party that weekend. I knew I had to pass it along. And as I read, I kept thinking of different teenage girls–nieces and friends–that would benefit with this warm and personal, yet hip, mentoring of Tricia’s in their hands.
What a Great Start! Thanks!
Here is the schedule for the rest of the tour!

Oops, the date works (10/12), but there’s one too many http’s on my link!
It should be http://dameigs.blogspot.com/
The date is great (10/8), and my blog address is correct, but I won’t have it on myspace since I don’t do the blogging thing on there. It will be at http://pianogirl.wordpress.com [which you have listed] and also at http://www.myccm.org/taralynee/blog.
The date is great! Looking forward to my copy arriving down under!
I’m looking forward to sharing my teen years (bleh!). ;P

INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! Warning, Trisha Goyer. As a male invader in your group of fantastic ladies, I feel my contribution is somewhat unique.
I know from teen heartache. Yes, I could have chosen some better paths during my youth, but my mistakes weren’t those of excess … unless one includes excessively introverted. I was ruled by fear, governed by dread of anyone finding out who I really was. Shame is an awful load for an adolescent boy to carry, yet, I had overtly done nothing worthy of such shame.
As a “good” Catholic boy, I constantly bore a super-human load of guilt for my “impure thoughts.” Fortunately for the world, I was too timid to act out any of my dark fantasies.
When I came to the Lord, He took away my sin, but losing that sense of shame is another issue. Of course, like all of life’s trials, even that spectre can contribute to God’s glory. Due to His infinite grace and wisdom, I still fully understand my unregenerate capacity for evil. Without Jesus in my life, I could potentially become another Jack the Ripper, Jefrey Dahmer, or Ted Bundy.
Am I really so terrible? Fact is, anyone without Christ has the potential of perpetrating the greatest evil. Praise God, my greatest fear today is of doing anything that might become a reproach to my Father.
