One Body in Christ | Romans 12:4-5

One body in Christ - Romans 12:4-5

Saturday Scripture

Romans 12:4-5

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Prayer:

Papa God,
I am so grateful for my brothers and sisters in Christ and for the gift of community. We aren’t meant to walk through this life alone. Unfortunately, I am quick to compare myself to others and put myself down for my differences. Remind me that you created me with a unique set of gifts and talents to be used to bring your name glory. Those gifts might not be the same as my family, friends, or neighbors’ gifts, and that’s okay. A body is strong and functional because of it’s different parts. Help me encourage my brothers and sisters in their respective gifts, too!

Our gifts differ, but we are one body in Christ! Romans 12:4-5 is @TriciaGoyer’s verse of the week

Thank you for sharing that verse with us today. We have been studying about this in our Sunday school quarterly this past week. Everyone has their own gift . Whether a leader or a person working behind the scenes each job is important in the whole operation of the church. Our bodies work together the same. Each part of our body that has been made in a fearful and wonderful way has a vital part in the whole function of the whole body. It’s called team work.

Yes! I love how God does not send us on a solo journey!

Thank you for the above blog post, I needed it today. I am a new children’s book author, getting my feet wet in the crazy world of writing; last few days I have been doubting myself. I know God brought me to your web page for a reason, have a blessed day.
