You are here: Home / books / A Remembering You Holiday MEME (a chance to win one of 10 four book prize packs)!

A Remembering You Holiday MEME (a chance to win one of 10 four book prize packs)!

My latest book, Remembering You, is a story about a girl and her grandpa (and well, there’s much more to the story, but for the purpose of the MEME, we’ll leave it at that!) and what better way to give a shout-out to our elderly relatives this Holiday than sharing our thoughts about them!

So … I’m bringing back the MEME!

Here’s how it will work…post and answer the below questions on your blog or Facebook. Then either tag specific people or tag your readers/friends (so they will answer share and answer the questions too). Then come back here and fill out the linky (below – under the photo where it says CLICK HERE TO ENTER). Easy.

I’ll choose 10 winners to receive a 4 book Tricia Goyer prize pack***!

Here are the MEME questions!

1. What’s your favorite holiday song?

2. What’s your favorite holiday tradition?

3. If you could travel one place with an elderly family member where would you go?

4. What questions would you ask?

5. What is a non-tangible gift have you received from an elderly relative?

6. What is the best/worst/strangest gift you’ve received from an elderly relative?

****On December 22nd ten people who have filled out the linky will be selected at random to win one of the ten 4-book prize packs. You can either have it sent to yourself or a friend. To enter all you have to do is answer the MEME on your blog and then fill out the linky on this post. Easy.

Then be sure to pop over and read the other MEMEs linked up in the linky – let’s celebrate our elderly loved ones! If you have any questions email amy@triciagoyer.com!

Merry Christmas!

Love this idea and I think the most memorable thing that has been given to me by my grandparents are the Christmas traditions and meanings behind them.

Now I am really confused. I have posted on FB but will copy my answers here. I hope I am entered in the contest.
My favorite holiday song is “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”
My favorite holiday tradition is “The Mistletoe.”
I would travel to heaven to be with my parent’s.
I would ask my mother and father questions about our ancestors, about my mother and father when they were kids and what all they have learned about life, living, and their relationship with God.
The gift that is non-tangible I have received from my elderly relatives are unconditional love for me just being me.
The strangest gift I received from an elderly relative when I was a child was a fruit cake. Thank you, Martha

I too was confused about how to enter but here I am and hope in the right spot.
    Merry Christmas Tricia
My holiday song is O Holy Night
christmas decoration is doing the outdoor lights
where would I take an elderly person would be to Florida where they can be warm
I would say the untangible gift would be acceptance of me, just as I am.

I would love to go back and find out about all the ancestors, parents disceased now.
a strange gift, what can I say about this one, maybe not getting one when I thought I would.

Groovy – I do see your link on the link list under the photo – #20.

Ann – you can just use the URL to your Facbook profile when you fill out the Mr. Linky form.
