A few days ago, I was on a Facebook LIVE with a group of women and we were talking about doing what the Bible says — all about what the #WalkItOut Podcast is all about! God has wonderful things planned for us. Things planned before they are even thoughts in our heads. Maybe you’re like me, and all the things that we want to do become a burden to you. Overwhelming. Things that are just on a to-do list, and we feel like we have to earn God’s love. I’m a very to-do list driven person, and while I know that is how God made me, I’ve had to learn, and am still learning, how to be the Mary sitting at Jesus’s feet really spending time with Him, and being the Martha busy about many things. I’m excited to get to chat with my guest today, Katie Reid, about this very thing. We’re going to be chatting about understanding who God really made us too be and embracing that, but also understanding that we don’t have to earn God’s love.
Grace is a gift to be received, not a prize to be earned — I just love this quote from Katie and I know you are going to be blessed by our conversation! You can listen above or on iTunes! I’d love it if you shared with your friends!
