Parenting First Aid with Marty Machowski
No one said that parenting is easy, and in the midst of dealing with challenging kids, life often throws challenges our way, too. The lie that we often believe is, “It’s all up to us.” But the truth is that even in the midst of parenting problems (and other real-life problems!) when we feel all alone, God is with us. In fact, it’s often these problems that draw us to Him.
Today’s guest Marty Machowski urges parents to fight for their kids, not on their feet, but on their knees. When things look hopeless, it’s important for weary parents to remember that it is God who will rescue our children. It’s our job to trust Him and to pray.
If you feel as if you’re alone in your parenting struggles, you’re not. Don’t give up, Mom or Dad. Lean into God’s Word. Lift your needs up to God in prayer. God knows everything about your current situation, and He is with you. If you need a dash of hope, I know you’ll love today’s podcast.
