In 2012, shortly after adopting a sweet little girl, Rachelle began searching for a piece of art that captured the message she and her husband hoped to teach their children regarding the gift of adoption. After months of looking, she found nothing that represented exactly what they felt about adoption, so she decided to create an art piece herself. Her husband, Tim, built a wood canvas from some scrap lumber in their backyard, and the journey to Scripted Simplicity began.
