Brooke Tilghman Wife to Todd, Mom of 8, Pastor’s Wife, Mrs. Voice … Loves a Good Thrift

Mrs. “The Voice” and The Goodness of God

We all see the goodness of God in many ways. For my new friend, Brooke Tilghman, she’s recently seen the goodness of God in an over-the-top way. Wife to Todd, mom of 8, and pastor’s wife … last fall Brooke encouraged her husband Todd to go to an open audition for The Voice. And just last week, Todd Tilghman was crowned the winner of the popular singing show.

Todd is the pastor of a small church, and he’s never had any vocal training. Unlike most of the other contestants, he’s never performed in concerts. When Todd decided “now is the time,” his platform was millions of television viewers who needed his a dose of his spirit, joy, and faith during these scary times of the pandemic. And while the world was cheering on Todd, Brooke was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love to her family. Local friends rallied around them, did their laundry, watched their kids, and brought them pound cakes. (Lots of pound cakes!) They also received encouraging messages from people all around the world. Even well-known professionals have reached out to Todd to mentor him and help him on this new, musical journey. God has truly opened the floodgates of heaven, and the joy of it doesn’t escape Brooke.

But as you’ll hear in today’s show, the outpouring of God’s blessing is a common theme in the Tilghman Tribe. God has called them to do many big things … and their small steps of faith have been spotlighted by God’s big faithfulness.

While Todd’s voice IS amazing, Todd and Brooke’s story also encourages and inspires viewers. I know you’re going to LOVE my chat with Brooke!
