#WalkItOut Podcast 56: Lisa Jacobson
As you may know, my journey to motherhood (and marriage for that matter) hasn’t been an easy one. I was seventeen-years-old when I had my first son, Cory, and, consequently, dropped out my senior year of high school. During my pregnancy, I started praying for my future husband and the Lord brought me John.
One thing I realized over the years is, even if we don’t have the best starts, we are a people of influence. Women are people of influence. We influence our family, our husband, our communities, our world.
When trying to come up with a way to introduce today’s guest, I could only think of one word. Solid. Lisa Jacobson is all about a solid truth, solid principles, solid foundation for our homes. She is the owner of Club31Women.com. I’ve admired her for a long time, but I actually got the opportunity to meet her in Montana. On her blog she chats about having a lasting marriage, having a close relationship with your kids, and having a peaceful and orderly home. You must be thinking that her life has to be pretty perfect, but what I love about Lisa is that she has faced challenges and difficulties in her life. I hope that you will be encouraged by my conversation with Lisa today and know that you too can be an influencer no matter where you are at in your life’s journey.
I know that you’re going to enjoy my conversation with Lisa! You can listen above or on iTunes! I’d love it if you shared with your friends!
