#WalkItOut Podcast 075: Laurie Kehler

What are your favorite things about nature? Where are you favorite places to visit? Do you like to hike in the mountains? Do you like to sit on the beach? Do you like to explore the swamps? When I think of nature, I think of the beauty of Montana. We lived there for fifteen years and a thirty-minute drive would take you up in the Rocky Mountains. Just enjoying the sun, the beauty, the mountains, the Indian paintbrush, the bear grass, all the things — it was just so amazing!

Today on the Walk it Out Podcast I’m talking to my friend Laurie Kehler, author of This Outside Life, about experiencing God through nature. I met Laurie at a writer’s conference years and years ago and we’ve always kept in love. I just love she can see glimpses of God’s love all around us. As you are listening, if you have a few minutes, step outside! If it’s sunny. If it’s rainy, mabe grab a little umbrella and just breathe in the scent of the rain. As you are listening to this, think about God, think about nature, and connect with Him.

You are going to enjoy my conversation with Laurie. I know you will be blessed!  You can listen above or on iTunes. I’d love it if you share this with your friends.

This Week’s Walk It Out Scripture

2 Corinthians 2:14-16

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?
