Right now I’m in the air, heading toward Indianapolis to speak at a banquet for a WONDERFUL ministry called Hope House. This program provides two years of housing for teen moms to help them get on their feet. I’m so excited to be able to meet the amazing women who run this, and the teen moms they help. Check out this clip and WATCH CLOSELY to see my book in the segment!

Here is a story I wrote for my local Crisis Pregnancy Center, Hope Pregnancy Ministries.

A New View on Life
By Tricia Goyer

True Story about HopePregMin.org

While she was still in college, Jenny* found herself unmarried and pregnant. Her ex-boyfriend made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her or the child. Wanting to finish her education, Jenny believed abortion was her only option. She promptly had one, and proceeded to push it out of her mind.

Years passed, and Jenny finished higher education. She later married and had two more children—both boys. Life seemed to be going fine until Jenny’s family started going through hard times. It was then Jenny found herself pregnant again.

In need of an ultrasound, Jenny heard about the free services at Clear Choice Clinic. Jenny was excited to see images of her baby girl on the monitor, but with the joy flooded in painful memories of her past abortion.

Oh my gosh, I killed a baby, she thought as she lay on the exam table.

Soon after, Jenny started working with a mentor at Hope Resource Center, and the mentor gave her information about a post-abortion Bible study offered at the center. Growing up, Jenny had attended church as a child, but a church scandal had forced her parents to pull their children out of the church. God hadn’t been a reality in Jenny’s life for many years.

At the study, Jenny was introduced to two leaders and another attendee—all of whom where Christians. During the study, Jenny mentioned she had close friends who were Jehovah Witnesses, yet to her their beliefs didn’t seem to make sense.

It was half way through the post-abortion study that Jenny placed one hand on the Bible and the other on the Bible Study book.

“This is the first thing that’s rung true to me,” she said with joy lighting her face.

Jenny’s mentor invited her to a church service, and the week before the study ended both Jenny and her husband accepted Christ. She made the announcement during the final week of study, and now Jenny is on an exciting journey with God.

“I bought one of those read the Bible-in-a-Year Bibles, and I can’t put it down,” Jenny recently told one of the leaders. “I’m already up to July!”
What an amazing example of what can happen to those who visit Clear Choice Clinic. Ultrasound not only offers a clear view of life in the womb, sometimes it can also lead to eternal life for those who visit our center.
