    1. What was your favorite pastime as a child? Reading – started with Bobbsey Twins and Nancy Drew

    2. Think about one special memory about each of your siblings. What was it? Unfortunately, I’m an “only” child.

    3. What was your favorite meal? My grandmother’s spaghetti

    4. What were some of the most memorable books you read? Anne of Green Gables, To Kill a Mockingbird

    5. Think of one particularly memorable event. What was it? Attending a concert given by Chet Atkins and Floyd Cramer

    6. What scent or sound immediately takes you back to childhood? White Shoulders perfume reminds me of my mother

    7. What meaningful advice did you receive from an adult? Study hard and play later!

    8. Think about someone who influenced your life profoundly.
    Tell us about that person. My home church preacher when I was growing up. It was through him that I came to accept Christ, and later commit my life to special ministry.

    9. Think about your proudest moment. What made you proud? My daughter receiving most outstanding student award upon graduating from Bible college

    1. What was your favorite pastime as a child? Playing outside, I loved it.

    2. Think about one special memory about each of your siblings. What was it? When my eldest sister came to my home and decorated my wretched bathroom. My middle-sister stood up for me at school.

    3. What was your favorite meal? Chile Rellenos.

    4. What were some of the most memorable books you read? The Hiding Place, Night Song, The Mark of the Lion series.

    5. Think of one particularly memorable event. What was it? Hmm…the birth of my boys.

    6. What scent or sound immediately takes you back to childhood? The smell of rain hitting the dirt.

    7. What meaningful advice did you receive from an adult? Let Go, Let God.

    8. Think about someone who influenced your life profoundly.
    Tell us about that person. My mom, she raised three girls on a 9th grade education working as a housekeeper. We never went without, ever. Her strength and faith in God is inspiring.

    9. Think about your proudest moment. What made you proud? The day I decided that I wasn’t going to let people walk all over me, even if I wind up getting hurt.

    1. What was your favorite pastime as a child? Reading! I remember leaving the library with a stack of books so high I couldn’t see over the top.

    2. Think about one special memory about each of your siblings. What was it? I remember swimming with my brother (he was younger). In the summer we would have diving and swimming contests.

    3. What was your favorite meal? Beef Stroganoff

    4. What were some of the most memorable books you read? Papa’s Daughter series by Bjorn, Heidi (loved those LONG sentences!), the Laura Ingalls Wilder series

    5. Think of one particularly memorable event. What was it? Feeding chipmunks at Yellowstone National Park

    6. What scent or sound immediately takes you back to childhood? Chocolate chip cookies baking

    7. What meaningful advice did you receive from an adult? Always do your best.

    8. Think about someone who influenced your life profoundly.
    Tell us about that person. My grandma — she was the first female draftsperson at McDonnell Douglas during WW2, and she had more than 100 foster kids in her home over the years.

    9. Think about your proudest moment. What made you proud? When my art project won first prize and got sent to New York. Either that, or selling my first ‘book’ to my neighbor for ten cents when I was 5.
